Jack Wills takes its design inspirations from British military history, sporting traditions, and country pursuits. The quirky range and fabric details reflect an eccentric British style.

Jack Wills Meldon Leather Bomber Jacket

Jack Wills Meldon Leather Bomber Jacket. A traditional British flying jacket. As aviation advanced dramatically during the Second World War, planes were reaching new heights and exposing pilots to sub–zero temperatures. Leslie Irvin, the inventor of the parachute rip cord, created a coat to keep pilots warm: the Bomber Jacket. Made from heavyweight sheepskin, the jacket was light enough to allow the pilots to move around the compact cockpit, yet dense enough to retain warmth. The collar could be turned up to provide greater insulation while the waist belt prevented drafts reaching the body.

Jack Wills Waterstock Jacket

Jack Wills Waterstock Jacket. Inspired by vintage sailor smocks, the Waterstock is an expedition style cotton jacket with a textured weathered wash that creates the impression of many days spent in the open salt air. The Union Jack appliqué badge and sailing insignia lend to the nautical design as does the white lining and woven drawstring cords. Inspired by a life at sea, other practical features include the zip chest and pockets as well as the wind-proofing hood.
